The journey starts in the Wild.

It all has to start somewhere, it has to start sometime, what better place that nature.
Into the wild, is the series of my inner hobbies. It all comes together once I found that nature and photography became therapeutic alternative for this commitment.
It all had to start somewhere. I was in place where I desperately wanted to improve and experience my skills. I found that in order to practice and put to test everything I have learned was difficult since I didn’t know anyone and didn’t have a subject. One of favorite past times was exploring local parks, and in there I found I can practice on birds.
I never thought I would enjoy studying and photographing them. It was there were I truly tested the basics of composition, ISO, shutter speed. In no time, I found this practices very therapeutic. In my solitude I found peace, and in nature I found comfort and when I added photography in just all make sense.
Hugh Ramsey Nature Park- Harlingen TX
Hugh Ramsey is a Nature park located in Harlingen Texas. This park has one of the biggest birding areas in the city. Here you will find cardinals, orioles, titmouse, hummingbirds, blue rock and clay-colored thrush, great kiskadee, and green jays among other local wildlife like javelinas and bobcats.

Laguna Atascosa Wildlife Refuge- Los Fresnos Texas
Laguna Atascosa is probably my favorite, park of them all. The beauty of the park is immense. In there you can feel the vastness of the South Texas region filled with local wildlife like whitetail deer, nilgai, white crested caracara, even and fresh water crocs. Located in the outskirts of Los Fresnos, near Bayview and Laguna Vista; Laguna Atascosa has plenty of walking trails with a remote vibe. Here will be alone with nature for miles, the only sound of the wind will completely disconnect you from the city sounds, in here the air is pure.

Cascada de Guadalupe, Monterrey NL.Mexico
A treasure in the skirts of the famous mountain of Monterrey, Mexico. This park is not much known by locals, but as most trails that lead to the mountains they are usually located among private properties. Many of these trails can be unforgiving since the climb can be steep. Many wildlife can be found in the footsteps of the mountain, but one of the most unique is the Coati.
