A true vagabond’s soul is daydreaming for the next adventure.
Sometimes I wonder why I constantly daydream about all the different places there is yet to discover. I have early memories of having an urge of picking up a backpack and just leave and explore the unknown, but also I find it terrifying. I don’t know why I drawn to the thought of leaving a world behind. In the early days of work travel I found the vastness of a cingular region, imagine the rest of the world.
In the beginnings of my journey as a photographer, a familiar quote from kept resonating.
All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.
-J.R.R Tolkien
Now behind the lens, I can tell a story and hopefully emit that emotion I try to send. Then close the cap, touch the ground and move to the next corner of the world.
Japan -South Korea
A dream of a destination. Japan has been one my destinations to visit in my life time. Japan is full of culture, history, and folklore. Tokyo is one of the largest cities in the world. Transformed by technology and innovation, this city leaves you with an endless wonder of charm. Kyoto is by far my favorite Japanese city yet. Kyoto is surrounded by ancient history and is naturally by breathtaking hill views and sacred temples. Osaka is a modern wonder as well, with a combination of modern architecture and modern nightlife Osaka is a breath of Fresh Air.
South Korea does not stay behind. Busan is surprisingly a widely diverse city that few Asian cities have. From their modern architecture and night life to sunny beaches and sacred temples in their mountain terrain. Seoul is the heart of South Korean culture. Its buzzing metropolis skyscrapers to the Buddhist temples in the hills make it a wonder of a city.

Monterrey
Monterrey is my birthplace, my true home. There is a deep affection for this northern Mexican jewel. A city surrounded by mountains, Monterrey gives you a feeling of fascination. Mexico is blessed with very unique regions from tropical, mountainous, desert, and jungle. The Northeast region of Mexico tends to be flat and close to sea level, once you reach the Mountainous regions that stretch from South Mexico to the Northern United States, you start to feel you entered a different world. Just as you explore the rich food, sounds, the folklore, Monterrey will be in your heart forever.

Italy
This is where it all started. I’m drawn to this country because of its immense beauty and magnificent culture. As far as I know, my family roots start in the City of Como, located in the province of Lombardy. The Journey was extensive, if I could write about Italy it would take a while to describe the detail of everything I experienced. Milan, Verona, and Venice were the first stop. All are very unique in their way. Florence, Pisa, and San Gimignano are my absolute favorite Italian regions, the Toscana. This region is rich in history. The Lazio region where Rome and the Vatican sit is one the most interesting places on earth. The Cinque Terre region of La Spezia is the most beautiful Mediterranean regions and its just to die for. One of the most ancient cities, their architecture tells a thousand stories and echoes around the entire city.

New Orleans
New Orleans has a special place in my heart. I can never have enough of that mysterious NOLA vibe. This place's rich history is amazing. NOLA has a deeper musical heritage than anywhere else in the US. Blues and Jazz make a unique sound that only New Orleans can match. Not only does New Orleans have a great musical background, but its food is undoubtedly among the best, from Shrimp gumbo to a tasty etouffee that will leave you with that spice in your taste buds. New Orleans’s historic French Quarter has many colorful streets with plenty of paranormal, crime, and even gory stories that will keep you on your toes.

Charleston, South Carolina.
So little time, so much to explore. I was only able to explore Charleston by a couple of hours at night. Colonial vibes in the historic region are filled with Southern charm. Like New Orleans, Charleston has that spooky feel and its considered one of the most haunted cities in the US.

New York City
I felt very intimidated by this city. This city is immense. Surprisingly, I had a sense of blending in. NY has a very distinctive architecture in which you can only feel inspired. You just want to do anything and go everywhere, but in the end, you are overwhelmed by the sheer size of this city.

San Francisco, Califronia.
Again, so little time and so many places to explore. I have been twice in San Fran, and I honestly say this city is magical. The Bay, the sounds, the skyscrapers. It’s truly a magnificent city.

South Padre Island, Texas
The Isla, technically my backyard. The Island is our getaway from us who reside in the RGV. Filled with breathtaking sunsets, South Padre is one of our most beloved destinations. is
